Kathmandu, December 10: Nepal continues to remain in the second position in the medals tally of the 13th South Asian Games. At the end of the second last day of the regional sports event, Nepal has won a total of 183 medals including 49 gold, 51 silver, and 83 bronze medals.
Nepal is behind India, which has so far bagged 143 gold, 83 silver, and 43 bronze medals. Sri Lanka with 36 gold, 76 silver, and 107 bronze medal stands in the third position followed by Pakistan (30 gold, 33 silver, and 49 bronze), Bangladesh (19 gold, 30 silver, and 75 bronze) and the Maldives with one gold and three bronze medals in the fourth, fifth and sixth position respectively.
Bhutan is at the bottom of the table with five silver and 13 bronze medals. The 13th SAG comes to an end tomorrow with the closing ceremony to be held at the Dasarath Stadium. RSS
