Kathmandu, October 25 : 2,856 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 158,080. Among the newly infected, 1,535 were from the Kathmandu valley alone. .
In the past 24 hours, altogether 12,311 suspected ones got their RT PRC tests to check the infection, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Similarly, the Ministry shared that 3,336 people recovered from the virus, thus taking the total number of such people to 111,670 .
In the past 24 hours, five people also succumbed to the disease. With this, the total number of deaths from Covid-19 reached 847 in Nepal. –
