May 14 : Thirty-eight people of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, have today been placed under quarantine as they came in close contact with a child infected with Covid-19.
The very child is the six-year old ENT patient of the hospital who is confirmed to have contracted the disease today morning itself.
After the very patient was suspected to have been suffered the disease, the neuro ward of the hospital had been sealed off three days ago.
According to sources, the 38 people include doctors, nurses, family members of the infected child and also other patients of the hospital who were in the same ward with this child.
Officials deployed from the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division and hospital staffers are said to have completed the contact tracing of all who had come in contact with the infected patient.
