Kanchanpur, November 25: Construction of the three different roads has begun in the Shuklaphanta municipality as part of the regional urban development project with the loan assistance of the Asian Development Bank. They will be constructed at a total cost of over Rs 278.7million through the bidding process.
Some five months back, a contract regarding the very construction was signed with Raman KS JV.
Engineer of the company Amar Singh Eir said that the 1.4 km-long road will be constructed in the Pipaladi area and 3 km-long road in Jhalari to and 300 metres-long road in Shisaiya. “The side cleaning has started along the roads in the first phase”, he added. –
