The Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal has expressed the confidence that the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 would help boost export sector.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the Federation that was established with the slogan ‘Export for Prosperity’ welcomed the budget. “The budget has come to address the concerns of import-export enterprises – that has remained a main pillar of Nepal’s economy”, it noted.
The chairperson Ram Bahadur Gurung termed the upcoming year’s budget positive as it has incorporated it’s recommendations in the fiscal policy.
Among the positive affairs the budget envisaged include construction of international exhibition center, organizing international fair, providing grant up to 8 percent on cement, processed water, steel, foot wear and clinker and improving standards of Nepal-based laboratory to make export reliable.
