Kathmandu, November 29: An international workshop titled ‘International Workshop on Transport and Tourism’ is to be organized here on December 13 and 14. The objective of the international workshop is to promote and make the impending Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign effective.
Chinese Highway and Transport Society is organizing the international workshop in collaboration with the Nepal Automobiles Association Foundation and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
The Mountain Sports Federation Nepal is coordinating the event. More than 12 working papers on investment prospects in tourism, drive tourism, BRI and Tourism, tourism safety and cross-border connectivity will be presented and discussed in the workshop, workshop coordinator Ashish Gajurel said. Chinese government and business will have their presence in the workshop to be participated in by high officials of the federal and state governments of Nepal, lawmakers, tourism experts and entrepreneurs, road and transport experts.
The experts from China, India, Bangladesh, and the United States are also participating in the workshop. This will be the first of its kind workshop on tourism and safety and drive tourism, according to the workshop coordinator.
