Ranjha (Banke), December 2: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Chakrapani Khanal has said that the government was working to bring farmer-centric policy provisions.
Inaugurating the commercial goat farming enterprise at Mahadevpuri of Banke on Sunday, Minister Khanal said that the small farmers who are deprived of access to government supports and grants would be provided by making policy level provision.
He also urged the farmers to spread the fame of Banke district as the goat producing area.
Likewise, Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative Minister of Province No. 5 Arati Poudel also expressed her commitment to develop the district as the pocket area for goat rearing. The goat farming enterprise was established with the support from Heifer International.
