Bhaktapur, June 15: Most of the meat shops in Bhaktapur district have been found non-standard. A team of Bhaktapur municipality meat shop monitoring committee on Friday (June 14) conducted the monitoring of the meat shops run at Dekocha, Kamalbinayak, and Chyamasing and found them not maintaining basic cleanliness and hygiene.
The team headed by committee coordinator Raj Krishna Gora monitored Mahalaxmi meat shop, Bikesh meat shop, New Shuvana cold store, Chyamasingh meat shop, among others. Most of the meat shops were found operative without registration. They did not even maintain a price list, according to the monitoring team. RSS
