Kathmandu, April 7 : In association with the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and M/s Franchise India, the Embassy of India in Kathmandu is all set to organise the Nepal-India Franchise Investment Expo and Conclave, here in the capital, on May 15-16.
The Nepali economy is increasingly being fuelled by highly aspiring Nepali consumers who expect nothing short of the world’s best when it comes to their brand consumption, reads a press communique issued by the embassy.
It is important for businesses in Nepal to cater to this aspiring target segment of consumers and conclaves of this nature will help in bringing the leading Indian iconic brands to Nepal, Nepal-India conclave adds.
Their entry into Nepal is expected to not only bring investment into Nepal but also technology transfers and business know-how. Organisers expect around 70-80 iconic and leading brands of India to participate in the conclave to seek business partners from Nepal.
