Kathmandu, May 3: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has made an upward review of the prices of petroleum products effective from Thursday midnight (May 2).
With this, the prices of petroleum products now cost Rs 111.50 per litre of petrol, and diesel and kerosene Rs 98 per litre.
The price of petrol was increased by Rs 1.50 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per liter.
The state-run oil monopoly, however, didn’t make any adjustments to the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Air Turbine Fuel (ATF). Before the adjustment, the price of petrol was Rs 110 per liter, while the price of diesel and kerosene was Rs 98 per liter.
The price was adjusted in line with the increase in the price of petroleum products by the Indian Oil Corporation which supplies petroleum products to Nepal.
