Pokhara, March 15: In a bid to provide professional grooming to the next generation of aspiring bankers, Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. has opened RBB Empowerment Academy in Gandaki Province.

 Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) Ltd. has collaborated with Jobs Dynamics, its official job placement partner, to create course structure as well as the overall technical process for this Academy right from the selection procedure to the final recruitment.

The Academy will be conducting a 3-day training session by some of the most prominent names in Nepal’s banking sector for free of cost. The free of cost session is targeted towards the students aspiring to pursue a career in the banking sector. Such students must have a bachelor’s degree as minimum academic eligibility.

The session is intended to give the participants a detailed know-how about the internal working of a bank and information on the latest innovations in the banking sector.  Similarly, it features a grooming class for them on how to prepare for the job interviews.

The session is slated to be held in the 4th week of March at Pokhara. The application process for the same, which started from 13th March, will last till 23rd March.

 Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RBB, Mr. Keshav Prashad Lamsal, said, “The training sessions to be offered by the Academy will provide a unique platform to aspiring bankers to kick start their career development in the banking sector.”
