Nepal Rastra Bank has approved the refinancing amount of Rs. 11.84 billion to 29 banks to disburse loans.
By mid-November, Nepal Rastra Bank has given the approval to distribute the amount through special and general refinancing.
As per the decision of the government to provide refinancing facilities to the borrowers, the NRB has to provide the facility through the banks. Under this, there are 15 borrowers taking special refinancing. Which has received Rs 2.45 billion. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the concession was provided through 10 banks.
Similarly, there are 76 borrowers who get ordinary refinancing and have received a concession of Rs. 9.38 billion. The facility has been distributed by 28 banks and financial institutions.
