Kathmandu, August 13 : The government has urged all the Nepali people living inside and outside the country to promote the logo of Visit Nepal Year (VNY) 2020 through their social media profiles.
Issuing a press statement, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai, asked them to leverage their such profiles to help expand and promote the VNY 2020 campaign.
“Public and private organization are also requested to positively contribute to the campaign by using the logo in their website and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.”
Minister Bhattarai also expresses hope that the VNY campaign could play a vital role in establishing Nepal as a major destination for natural beauty, cultural diversity and adventure tourism in the international market.
Realizing the immense prospects of tourism to help expedite the national economy, the government is executing the campaign to attract 2 million foreign tourists in the country in 2019.
