Kathmandu, August 5–Nepal Clearing House Ltd has  announced to extend its connectIPS e-Payment System for bank account-based online fund facility. such extension will enable the customers of various banks to transfer funds online up to Rs 100,000 per transaction to its his/her own bank account or to the beneficiaries.

One can get the connectIPS services by registering his/her name   at www.connectips.com and link its bank account. Such account needs to be verified at the respective bank to initiate the service.

Some 19 banks and financial institutions (BFIs) are currently operating such online fund transfer, while 10 other BFIs have already reached understanding to operate it.

The system was launched  some three month back for e-payment of revenues for the government. It has been established by the NCHL to support digital payments in the country
