Welcome, adStartr create strategic partnership

Kathmandu, December 30: Welcome Advertising and Marketing Pvt Ltd and adStartr Pvt Ltd have created a strategic partnership with an aim to digitally streamline the booking and release of advertisements in the mass media channels of Nepal.

Nirmal Raj Poudel, Chairman, Welcome Advertising and Niranjan Khanal, GM, Nepal-based Operations, adStartr, signed a deal regarding such partnership on behalf of their respective organizations.

As per the agreement, adStartr.com.np (the Nepal-based online advertising platform of adStartr Pvt Ltd) will book/collect advertisements from various media agencies/brokers, companies and individuals based in Nepal and outside the country. Similarly, Welcome is responsible for releasing/broadcasting such collected ads through media platforms like print, televisions, outdoor, and radio stations in the country.  

“Those who want to advertise their products/services in the Nepali market have long been facing geographical, technical and other difficulties to do so. In this regard, we decided to strategically collaborate with adStartr to facilitate them to overcome such difficulties and reap optimum returns on their advertising investments,” says Nirmal Raj Poudel, chairman of Welcome Advertising.

Niranjan Khanal, GM, Nepal-based Operations, adStartr, says,”The newly reached deal agreement will help increase the efficiency and consistency of placing ads from abroad and locally in Nepal by enabling the potential advertisers to browse, plan and release advertisements to the media of choice from a central location, the adStartr online platform- www.adStartr.com.np. “Nepali mass media now also have a new medium to interact directly with local and foreign-based advertisers to increase advertising revenue. This will benefit them as well as the advertisers in terms of buying and selling advertising in a more transparent and efficient way.”

Free sign up, the ability to upload/ create advertisements using sophisticated ad editor, the ability to make payments online and the visibility of campaign progress 24/7are some of the key features of adStartr online platform.

While signing the deal on the strategic partnership, Welcome and adStartr also announced the soft launch of the beta version of www.adStartr.com.np . Its full version will be available by March 2020.
