Kathmandu, January 29: Dr. Dhananjaya Regmi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Tourism Board. The executive committee of the NTB on Tuesday (Jan 28) appointed Dr. Regmi for the term of four years.
He, who holds a PhD in climate change, was picked from among three candidates that included Hikmat Singh Ayer and Deepak Bastakoti.
Dr. Regmi, who is also the chair of Himalayan Research Expedition, is currently teaching at the Central Department of Geography and Environment under the Tribhuvan University.
