Attariya, February 9: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta-led team on Saturday (Feb 8) made an on-site inspection of two Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Kailali.
In course of the inspection of the main industrial corridor of the Sudurpaschim State, the team inspected the Haraiya special economic zone in Godavari municipality and Dudejhari special economic zone in Lamkichuha municipality of Kailali district.
On the occasion, Minister Bhatta said the government would expedite the development of special economic zones at Haraiya and Dudejhari. He emphasized production to slash import and trade deficit in the Nepali market. The Haraiya special economic zone based in Godavari municipality is stretched over 900 bigha while Dudejhari special economic zone is spread over 1,100 bighas. RSS
