April 28 : Additional two persons today have tested positive for COVID-19, thus taking the total number of such cased in the country to 54. According to the spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikas Devkota, a 24-year-old male from Brindaban Municipality-9, Bhusaha, and another male aged 3 from Devahi Gonahi Municipality-1 of Rautahat district are diagnosed with the deadly virus. Their swabs were tested at the National Publi Health Laboratory at Teku in the capital.
The first man was discharged earlier on April 18 after staying in quarantine for 15 days. As far as the second male goes , he is still in quarantine and will be soon sent to the Birgunj-based hospital.
Of the total 54 reported cases of the coronavirus in Nepal, 16 have recovered so far.
