May 4 : The total number of the people contracting COVID-19 has jumped to 75 with the detection of sixteen more people suffering the disease on Sunday (May 3).Among these sixteen patients, fifteen — eight males and seven females — are from Nepalgunj and the remaining one male is from Parsa.
Throat and nasal swabs of the 15 tested positive for COVID-19 in Bheri hospital, Nepalgunj while the same of the 36-year-old from Parsa tested positive for the disease in the National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu.
There has so far not a single death reported due to the infection of the coronavirus, with 16 infected persons already returning home after getting cured in the country.
