Lamjung, October 19 : Eighty percent of the construction works of Super Dordi ‘B’ Hydroelectricity Project have been completed so far.t It is under-construction at Ward Number 6 of the Dordi Rural Municipality in the Lamjung district.
People Hydropower Company is constructing this 54-megawatt-capacity project, which is the biggest among the hydro projects situated in the Dordi Corridor. “It is set to complete in August of 2021 and will be connected to the national transmission line, site in-charge of the project Ramesh Sigdel said. The construction works related to the tunnel and the powerhouse of the project are underway, according to him. The total cost of the project is Rs 8.8 billion.
Out of this total amount, 70 percent will be borne by nine banks while the remaining 30 percent is being spent by the company and the related local people.
