Data of remaining 417 industries would be collected this time. He shared that the survey included various aspects of industrial sector’s contribution, prospects and challenges and situation of employment among others.

The survey that was supposed to commence from February 24 last year had been suspended due to outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent nation-wide lockdown ordered to contain the spread of the Coronavirus infection. Those industries having at least 10 workers are considered eligible for the survey that was last conducted in 2010. RSS
