Women Chamber to provide training for women entrepreneurs

The Women Chamber in collaboration with Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF), is going to organize the event related to IT for women entrepreneurs across the country. Secretary of Women Chamber Lima Adhikari and LBEF Chairman Pankaj Jalan have signed the agreement regarding the training.

At the signing ceremony, NCC President Rajendra Malla expressed his hope that IT training will be fruitful for job creation and business growth. He said the training to be provided to women entrepreneurs will be important in the context of the rapid development of IT. Further, he opined that the development of IT should also be a priority of the state.

For the training, women entrepreneurs will be selected from the local, provincial and federal levels in coordination with the Women’s Chamber, as per the press statement issued by NCC. An independent committee will also be formed to select women entrepreneurs willing to participate in the training.

Adhikari, Secretary of the Women’s Chamber, informed that women entrepreneurs will be trained in communication skills, market promotion, website design, among other fields. Likewise, LBEF Chairman Jalan said that they are going to train women entrepreneurs to promote online businesses. Training related to accounting will also be conducted along with the app development, Jalan said and added the training-related programme will be conducted for one year from December 30, 2022.
