A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday approved the guideline on Management of Seasonal Workers, 2079. The cabinet decided to approve guideline for a seasonal worker during the meeting that was held on Monday.
The meeting also approved an order to determine the standards of grain-based supplementary child nutrition, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki told the media on Monday.
According to Minister Karki, the cabinet meeting has decided to give the approval to provide two sets of Sheela (precious stones) to Janaki Mandir in Janakpurdham from Kali Gandaki River.
An order to determine the maximum level of heavy metal in foodstuffs has been approved while the Nilgiri Khola-I and II hydropower projects are allowed to use the national forest area for the construction of 220 KV transmission line.
The cabinet meeting also decided to use the national forest area for the project development of Upper Phawa Khola Hydropower and include additional conditions to the hydropower projects located in the conservation areas, Minister Karki added.
