“Following the “Nose landing gear door open during taxi” incident at Dhangadhi Airport on May 6 and the recurring issue at Bhairahawa Airport on May 8, operation of Shree Airlines’ aircraft 9N-ANE has been suspended and the concerned maintenance engineers have been taken off the roster,” CAAN said on Twitter.

Earlier today, the flight number SHA 822 with a capacity of 80 seats – S8 plane reached a distance of 20 miles from the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) located in Bhairahawa and made an emergency landing again at the same airport due to technical problems.

Similarly, the Bhairahawa airport was blocked for about 50 minutes as the Shree Airlines aircraft was stuck on the runway. Yeti’s flight from Kathmandu returned to Kathmandu after the runway of the airport was not cleared.

The Shree Airlines aircraft had taken off from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu at around 9:40 in the morning. Shortly after taking off, the pilot returned the plane to Bhairahawa after a technical problem was noticed. There were 75 passengers on board.
