The seventh edition of the expo is designed to promote local production, and marketing, and help in trade expansion.

According to the NCC, the expo will feature a variety of items, including agricultural materials, products from small and cottage industries, and handicrafts. Additionally, a wide range of sectors, including real estate, food and beverages, clothing, textbooks, books, vehicles, construction materials, electrical equipment, and other consumer goods, will be showcased at the exhibiton.

At a press conference, NCC President Rajendra Malla indicated that the expo will play an important role in promoting the market for locally produced items, such as agricultural products and handicrafts, and in stimulating the economic activities of small entrepreneurs.

More than 160 stalls from both national and international companies will be set up at the expo to be organised in collaboration with the Trade and Export Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

South Korea has been picked as the focus country for the expo. The NCC’s objective is to consolidate the commercial sectors, with a special focus on marketing Nepali products. Malla opined that the direct participation of the regional and international business community will offer a valuable opportunity to closely monitor international economic activities, the use of new technologies, and emerging business management trends.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce will also coordinate the Bharat Ayush Exhibition Conference during the exhibition. Likewise, commercial branches from Bangladesh, Russia, and Malaysia in Nepal are set to participate in the exhibition, according to NCC. Furthermore, entrepreneurs from Bangladesh, India, South Korea, and Pakistan will also be in attendance.
