NEPSE Drops by 15.93 Points on Last Trading Day of the Week

On the last trading day of the week (Thursday), the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) dropped by 15.93 points. On Thursday, a total of 167,97,727 shares worth 8.36 billion Nepali rupees were traded, causing NEPSE to decline by a double-digit number.

On Thursday’s trading, the market capitalization of NEPSE decreased by 0.57 points. Apart from the life insurance and trading groups, all other sector indices showed a negative trend.

Despite the negative performance in most sectors, 40 companies saw an increase in their share prices, while 201 companies’ share prices declined. Additionally, the share prices of 3 companies remained unchanged.

In today’s trading, Khani Khola Hydropower Company had the highest earnings for traders, while Support Microfinance had the largest losses.
