The price of gold soared to a new record in the domestic market on Monday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, gold is now priced at Rs 191,000 per tola — the highest rate ever recorded in Nepal. This marks a sharp increase of Rs 1,200 per tola compared to Sunday’s price.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained unchanged. It continues to trade at Rs 1,960 per tola, the same as on Sunday.
