With the move, the incumbent Revenue Secretary Dinesh Ghimire has been transferred to the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission.

Ghimire has faced accusations of policy-level corruption and of working in favor of certain business groups to serve vested interests.

Meanwhile, Finance Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhyay will continue in his position as the sole secretary at the MoF, overseeing the ministry’s overall functioning.
