The price of gold has surged to a record high in the local market, reaching Rs 235,400 per tola on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 2,960 per tola on the same day.
On Monday, gold was priced at Rs 233,100 per tola, while silver remained stable at Rs 2,960 per tola.
The continuous rise in gold prices reflects global market fluctuations and growing investor interest in safe-haven assets, influencing the local bullion market accordingly.
