The price of gold has decreased today. After rising by Rs 700 per tola on Thursday and by Rs 2,800 per tola on Wednesday, gold prices have dropped by Rs 1,300 per tola today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now being traded at Rs 241,700 per tola.
Yesterday, gold was traded at Rs 243,000 per tola. Earlier, on Sunday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs 6,900 per tola.
On Ashoj 31, the price of gold had reached Rs 258,800 per tola — the highest level recorded to date.
The price of silver has also declined today. After reaching Rs 3,185 per tola yesterday, silver dropped to Rs 3,100 per tola today, according to the Association.
