The prices of gold and silver in the Nepalese market have continued to decline. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold prices dropped by NPR 13,400 per tola on Monday (Magh 19), settling at NPR 286,600 per tola.
For comparison, gold was priced at NPR 300,000 per tola on Sunday (Magh 18), indicating a significant decrease in just one day.
Similarly, silver prices also fell, decreasing by NPR 300 per tola to NPR 5,200, down from NPR 5,500 per tola the previous day.
The sustained decline in precious metal prices reflects ongoing market fluctuations, influenced by both domestic and international economic factors. Traders and investors are closely monitoring the market as these changes impact buying and selling decisions across Nepal.
