Mega Capital Markets Limited begins operations with formal opening ceremony

Kathmandu, April 22: A wholly owned subsidiary of Mega Bank Nepal Limited, Mega Capital Markets Limited has recently conducted a formal opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was jointly inaugurated by the Chairman of Securities Board of Nepal, Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki and the Chairman of Mega Bank Nepal Limited, Bhoj Bahadur Shah. Mega Capital had received the Merchant Banking License from Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 18th Chaitra 2075.

Dr. Karki and Shah wished for the progress and success of Mega Capital. CEO of Mega Bank Anupama Khunjeli also gave her best wishes to Mega Capital and said the Bank will provide full support to the Capital and will offer the services of Mega Capital through nationwide branch network of Mega Bank.

As per the Company’s CEO Mr. Suday Kant Jha, Mega Capital shall provide various Merchant Banking services like Issue Management, Underwriting, Share De-materialization, Share Registrar, Portfolio Management and Corporate Advisory services from its Corporate Office located at Saket Complex, Tripureshwar, Kathmandu.

According to Company’s Chairman Ishwar Bahadur Gurung, the Company will duly come into operation in few days with a formal opening ceremony having the main objective to provide innovative and value added services to address the needs and objective of the share market participants and investors.
