Kathmandu, July 24 : Domestic flights have been affected today due to bad weather. Air service has been affected at most of the airports due to incessant rainfall from early this morning.
All domestic flights from Tribhuvan International Airport have been disrupted. Although domestic flights have been disrupted, international flights are on regular operation, said TIA Spokesperson Pratap Babu Tiwari. Some airports in western part of the country are in operation while air services at the most of the airports of mid and eastern parts have been disrupted.
Only Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi airports are now in operation. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there was possibility of rainfall at most of the parts of the country for three days and heavy rainfall at some places.
