The fifth amendments to the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act 2029 BS have specified provisions on rearing wildlife. Likewise, the fifth amendments to the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Regulation-2030 BS are under discussion in the Council of Ministers. Shrestha further informed that the setup of the center would ease the purchase of designated embryo for rearing wildlife at the home or other desired places and do the needful research and study on wildlife.

With the amendment to the Act, those willing to rear wildlife can do so by paying the law-stipulated revenue. He further shared that the center would also demonstrate how to rear wildlife. As per the amendment, people can rear the species of deer, snake, boar, birds, and monkey. Bed Prasad Dhakal, Chief Conservation Officer of the CNP, informed that preparation was on to set up the center at Devnagar nearby Kasara. The wildlife rescue center is also in the making in the same area. RSS
