The prices of both gold and silver have surged to record highs today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 1,200 per tola on Wednesday, reaching Rs 239,200 per tola, the highest rate ever recorded in Nepal.
On Tuesday, the price of gold had increased by Rs 2,600 per tola. Since last Sunday, gold prices have been rising continuously, setting new record highs each day.
The price of gold had climbed by Rs 7,000 per tola on Sunday, Rs 2,500 on Monday, and Rs 2,300 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, silver prices also increased today. The federation reported that silver rose by Rs 65 per tola, reaching Rs 3,025 per tola.
