The price of gold, which increased by NPR 13,600 over the past two days, has risen again today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by NPR 900 per tola today, reaching NPR 305,500 per tola.
On Sunday, the price of gold rose by NPR 9,500 per tola, followed by an increase of NPR 4,100 per tola on Monday.
After reaching NPR 304,600 per tola yesterday, the price of gold climbed to NPR 305,500 per tola today.
On Magh 15, the price of gold had increased by NPR 20,500 per tola to reach NPR 339,300 per tola. This remains the highest gold price ever recorded in the Nepali market.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has declined today.
The price of silver decreased by NPR 10 per tola, settling at NPR 5,240 per tola today.
On Magh 18, the price of silver had dropped by NPR 1,565 per tola. This decline is the largest drop in silver prices recorded so far.
On Magh 15, the price of silver had reached NPR 7,505 per tola, which is the highest silver price recorded to date.
