The price of gold has declined today, while silver has become more expensive. Gold dropped by Rs. 700 per tola.
With the decrease, the price of gold now stands at Rs. 215,100 per tola.
Yesterday, gold had reached Rs. 215,800 per tola — the highest price ever recorded in the Nepali market.
On the eve of Teej (September 25), the price of gold was Rs. 197,200 per tola. Since then, within 18 days, the price had risen by Rs. 18,600.
Meanwhile, silver prices have also reached a record high today. According to the Federation, silver is now priced at Rs. 2,570 per tola.
