The much-awaited NADA Auto Show 2024, organized by the Nepal Automobile Dealers’ Association, kicked off in the capital on Tuesday.

The auto show, which will run until September 1, is being held at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu. The exhibition features vehicles from various brands.The event provides vehicle users the opportunity to choose from a wide range of options under one roof. 

The exhibition includes new models from nine new brands as well as updated models from existing ones. There are 130 stalls showcasing vehicles and products from the automobile industry, including stalls from banks and financial institutions. The organizers have also announced that 19 brands of two-wheeled vehicles and 12 brands of commercial vehicles will be displayed at the event.

The auto show will also feature various models of vehicles, lubricants, tires, batteries, garage equipment, and other auto components. Given the growing interest in electric vehicles (EVs) among users, the NADA Auto Show will include around two dozen brands of EVs on display.

Vehicles ranging from affordable options to high-end luxury models are available to suit consumers’ budgets. Various companies have launched new vehicles at the NADA Auto Show, allowing users to choose from vehicles with different features. The show includes new vehicles adorned with updated sizes, colors, designs, looks, and interiors.

As electricity production increases in Nepal, and with the environmental benefits and domestic consumption of electricity, the government has also encouraged electric vehicles by providing tax incentives. Approximately a dozen new brands of EVs have entered the market.

At the NADA Auto Show, vehicles from the following renowned brands will be on display: Tata, BYD, Hyundai, Suzuki, Mahindra, Kia, Avatar-11, Jaecoo J6, Radar RD6, BMW, Xpeng, Zeekr X, Dongfeng Nammi-01, Leapmotor, GAC Aion, Omoda, Ceres, MG, Skywell, Citroën, and Hozon.

Additionally, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Mahalaxmi Development Bank, Sanima Bank, Nabil Bank, Global IME Bank, Himalayan Bank, and Machhapuchhre Bank will participate in the NADA Auto Show. These banks will provide information about loans for customers looking to purchase vehicles, as they will be investing in vehicle financing.
