Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is going to cancel four contracts. These contracts are about to be scrapped saying that the work was not done on time.
The NEA has canceled three contracts with construction entrepreneur Janamukhi Construction-Bagmati Concrete JV Lalitpur. Stating that the work related to distribution of electricity in Mugling and one in Sindhuli was not done properly, he said that the contract would be terminated.
Similarly, the work in progress of Unicorn Construction Pvt for electricity distribution in Ramechhap was not satisfactory.
“Despite repeated written and verbal reminders to the builders, the work has not been completed within the stipulated time and the work progress has not been found satisfactory,” the NEA said in a statement. ‘
