According to Executive Chairman Yubraj Adhikari, all technical preparations have been completed and the airline has received formal approval for the route.

The inaugural flight will depart on September 25, followed by flights on September 28, October 16, 19, and 23. From then on, regular services will operate three times a week—on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

Ticket prices have been set at Rs 30,000 for a one-way journey and Rs 50,000 for a round trip. Nepal Airlines also announced plans to expand further with direct flights from Kathmandu to South Korea and Australia in the near future.

Currently, China Southern Airlines and Himalaya Airlines serve the Kathmandu–Guangzhou route. With a large Nepali community residing in Guangzhou, NAC expects the new service to bring significant economic benefits.

With this launch, Nepal Airlines will be flying to 11 international destinations across nine countries. Operating a fleet of two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft, its destinations include Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Hong Kong, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bangkok, Dammam, and Narita.
