Nepal’s Inflation Drops Sharply to 1.67% in First Quarter of FY 2025/26

Unhinged is a 2020 American action thriller film directed by Derrick Borte, starring Russell Crowe, Caren Pistorius, Gabriel Bateman, Jimmi Simpson and Austin P. McKenzie. The story is about a young woman who is followed by a seemingly mentally ill stranger because of a road rage incident.

The first 40 minutes of the movie gives the background of the characters but is stretched a little. The car chase sequence, scene at a restaurant and final battle is brilliantly executed. The camera work looks obviously professionally handled and the editing also looks mature. It’s good to see Russell Crowe again after a long absence, his dialogue delivery, anger on the face looks very impressive. Although better road rage movies have been made before, it is also a decent entertainer. The screenplay is mediocre and execution through it is quite good. The technical aspect such as VFX is also done with perfection. Derrick Borte made a good interest to the audience in the first 5 minutes of the movie but stretched the scenes for the first half to extend the length of the movie. The performances of all the actors are cushdy. Though some actors have less screen time but their pursuance is splendid. The negative aspect of it is that it takes a long time to come to its main story.

At last I would like to say that it’s a good watch. It is also compared to the 1971 Spielberg’s movie “DUEL”. Though the film did not received expected reviews from the critics but got good reviews from the general public and got 6/10 on IMDb and 77%  audience score on Rotten Tomatoes . My rating is 6.5/10
