Biratnagar, June 2: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal, said that 108 land revenue and survey offices across the country would start carrying out works online within the current fiscal year. Talking to journalists at the Biratnagar airport today, she said the online service is being started to make the service delivery technology-friendly.
The Land Management Minister also underscored the need of utilizing the land resources by classifying it on the basis of its usability, saying prosperity could not be achieved by leaving agricultural land uncultivated. She said the government has already started works for the land management for increasing agriculture production.
Minister Aryal shared that the local levels would be provided with land use map within a year’s time. Minister Aryal stressed on proper utilization of the land. Land Act has been formulated which disallows land fragmentation.
