27th edition of CAN Info-Tech kicks off in Kathmandu

The 27th edition of CAN Info-Tech has kicked off at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The Federation of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN Federation) has organized the six-day fair sponsored by IME Pay and co-sponsored by SmartChoice Technologies (SCT Smart QR). The platinum sponsor of ‘IME Pay CAN InfoTech 2022 in association with SCT Smart QR’ is WorldLink Communications; gold sponsors are Nepal Telecom, Generation Next Communications and Sagar Group of Companies while Namaste Pay, S-Power, Broadway Infosys Nepal and Digicom are silver sponsors.

Likewise, Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce is the innovation partner of the fair while Sunway International Business School is the academic partner, Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN) a food and beverage partner, Mandala Systems is a virtual exhibition partner while the digital display partner is Ultra LED.

Government of Nepal (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology), Department of Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Nepal Telecom, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Subisu Cablenet and Vianet Communications, Nepal Mobile Distributors Association, Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation and World Innovation Technology and Services Alliance have supported the 27th edition of CAN Info-Tech fair.

The federation has appealed to all to support and participate in the expo. The CAN Info-Tech 2022 will conclude on Monday, April 25.

Prior to this, the federation had prepared to organize the 27th edition of the fair in two phases — the first one from May 11 to May 16 and the second one from February 1 to 6. However, due to Covid 19 pandemic, it was postponed.
