Kathmandu, November 03 : The country has recorded 2,933 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday (November 2), thus taking the total caseload to 176,500.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) said that the latest cases were diagnosed through real time- polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests carried out among 13,446 people.
Nepal yesterday reported 3,150 recoveries and 24 fatalities due to COVID-19. So far, 137,992 patients i.e 78.2 percent — have recovered from the disease while 984 have died of it.
Nepal had reported the first case of the disease on January 23 earlier this year while the first death was reported on May 16. RSS
