Kathmandu, August 2 : A total of 315 new COVID-19 cases were registered in on Saturday (August 1), thus taking the national tally to 20,086 .
According to spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Jageshwar Gautam, the new cases were identified while conducting PCR test on 6,913 samples during the past 24 hours across the country. As many as 11,533 people are being quarantined in different places.
A total of 14,492 have so far returned homes following recovery. Similarly, the number of total death toll has reached 56 till date in the country. —
