Kathmandu, July 1: 316 more COVID-19 cases have been reported on Tuesday (July 30), thus taking the total tally of the country to 13,564 COVID-19 cases.
Among the newly infected, 12 are from the Kathmandu Valley alone, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
In the last few days, the number of coronavirus cases has been increasing alarmingly in the Valley. This can ascribed to a greater uptick in the number of people returning to it after the government eased the nationwide lockdown from June 15.
