Kathmandu, September 25 : The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 1,313 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours. At a regular press briefing on Friday, Spokesperson of the Ministry, Dr Jageshwor Gautam informed that with this, the total number of people contracting the disease in the country has reached 70,614.
On Friday, 1,455 infected persons were recovered, thus the pushing the total number of such persons to 51,866. The Ministry argued that the recovery rate at present is 73.4 percent. Currently, there are 18,289 active cases of coronavirus.
Six persons died of the disease in the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of such fatalities has reached 459, according to the ministry.
