Bhutan’s airline company Druk Air plans to start chartered flights on the Paro-Pokhara-Delhi route from next March. This airline, which is currently flying Paro-Kathmandu-Delhi commercially, is about to start its flight from Pokhara.
Druk Air has communicated to Nepal regarding starting chartered flights from Pokhara in March. “It has been reported that the company has started correspondence with the Pokhara Regional International Airport,” said Jagannath Niraula, spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
He mentioned that this airline, which had previously submitted the Paro-Pokhara-Paro two-way flight plan, had started the connecting flight plan to Delhi some time ago.
Currently, Royal Bhutan Airways and Druk Air are providing regular flight services from Bhutan. Here, Royal Bhutan’s GSA is Society International for Nepal, while Druk’s GSA is Danfe Travel.
