Buddha Air has expanded its flight service from Kathmandu to Varanasi, India, increasing the frequency from two to three days a week.
Starting now, flights will be available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
In a recent press statement, the airline expressed optimism that the additional flight would enhance convenience for passengers.
Buddha Holidays, a sister company, is also offering travel packages to destinations like Sarnath and Ayodhya in India.
The airline believes these packages will support travelers in observing Sohra Sraddha, a 16-day Hindu tradition for honoring ancestors, in Gaya, India.
The flight duration from Kathmandu to Varanasi is approximately 50 minutes, with an initial one-way fare starting at Rs 11,360.
Flights are scheduled to depart Kathmandu at 7:15 AM and return from Varanasi at 8:30 AM.
