The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has revoked the license of MyFi Internet Service, operated by Regmi Media Inc. in Bhairahawa, due to the company’s failure to apply for license renewal by the NTA’s deadline.
On Tuesday, the NTA annulled Regmi Media Inc.’s license, following similar actions earlier that day against C Data Communication in Birgunj and Life Net in Surkhet. The NTA highlighted that Regmi Media Inc. did not submit the necessary renewal application on time. The company had originally obtained its license from the NTA on October 9, 2014.
The regulatory body has notified the company to settle the remaining dues within 30 days, in accordance with telecommunications regulations.
